Description
Yuki Mori from Space Battleship Yamato - aka - Nova Forrester from Star Blazers. I made this 12" figure way back in the late 80's when there was hardly any Yamato figures except expensive vintage 1974 toys from Japan and back before the internet that was just impossible!
Originally she was a Tsukuda vinyl kit model from Cat's Eye. Back then Tsukuda vinyl kits were 100% solid vinyl - until somone realized by puring off the liquid center you could cast them with 70% less material, hence the hollow vinyl kit was born. Carving & sanding solid vinyl isnt's much fun so this one took a long time to make. It's an oldie but a goodie! Any anime fans old enough to know who she is I'd appreciate hearing in your comments.
